When the Universe Speaks Through Silence
I didn’t know what I was saying yes to when I borrowed that paddleboard. I just knew I needed some space. Some water. Some perspective.
I didn’t have a plan. I just knew it was the right move for me that day, Lionsgate portal and all. Our little family was visiting my Uncle at his gorgeous lake house and I borrowed a paddleboard from his neighbor, awkwardly climbed down from the dock (not a glamorous moment, trust me), and got myself out on the water.
What I didn’t know was how healing and sacred it would feel once I got there.
My daughter and her boyfriend were riding jet skis nearby, so I waved, laughed, shared a few moments with them... and then they took off on the lake and it was just me. Stillness. Sky. Water.
I opened up my music app and bam, I Am Everything by Beautiful Chorus started playing and I immediately tuned out everything around me and was just sitting in the deepest gratitude for the moment on the water alone listening to such a beautiful mantra.
I was singing it out loud on the water, full voice, full heart. I recorded a video to capture the moment, and later when I played it back, it was only their voices coming through somehow. Not a trace of mine. Not a whisper. It was wild. Almost like the Universe was letting me keep that part just for me. Like it was saying: you don't need proof. You felt it. You ARE it.

That moment reminded me of what I always tell others but this time, I really embodied it:

When I finally dropped in and followed my own knowing, everything else clicked into place.
