This One Question Changed How I Set Goals—For Good
Real talk: Q2 is here.
Remember those goals you set at the start of the year?
Are you still looking at them?
Are you celebrating the progress—or brushing it off because you’re “not there yet”?
Here’s the truth bomb that hit me this week:
Are you interested in your goals… or are you committed to them?
Being interested is easy. It feels good in the moment. It lives in your screenshots and vision board.
But being committed? That takes choosing. Showing up. Taking the next small step—even when it’s not exciting anymore.
And this isn’t about hustle or shame. This is about ownership.
Because leading your life means you get to decide.
Are you visualizing what you want?
Are you writing it down?
Are you moving the needle, even just a little?
If yes—beautiful. Keep going.
If not—great awareness. Now you get to adjust.
Because that’s what it means to lead your life. You pause, reflect, re-choose, and move. You don’t just sit back and wait for motivation to find you.
You don’t have to get it all right. But you do have to show up if you want things to shift.
So take a breath and ask yourself:
Are you committed… or just kinda into it?
What’s one small action you can take this week to bring your vision back into focus?
Hit reply and tell me—I want to know where you’re at and how you’re showing up for yourself this season.
Let’s make Q2 count—on your terms.
